Anyone who has set up a multi-operator contest station knows the situation - everything is wired, workplaces are set, and the station is finally stable… until someone brings the idea for a new receive antenna to be tested.
Suddenly you’re behind the tables, juggling coax cables, disconnecting working setups, and hoping you don’t disturb something critical right before (or during) the contest. Testing a new RX antenna often means temporary compromises, messy rewiring, or simply skipping the idea altogether because there is no way to connect it to the setup.
The 4x6+ RX Splitter solves exactly this problem. It lets you add, switch, and share antennas on the fly, without tearing apart the existing setup. Whether you’re experimenting with a new beverage antenna, comparing noise performance, or quickly reassigning antennas between operators, everything can be done cleanly, safely, and in a timely manner.
The 4x6+ RX Splitter is a compact and versatile HF RX antenna matrix switch designed for amateur radio operators who need flexible, dependable antenna routing across the HF spectrum. The switching matrix idea comes from Adi, S55M and the splitter part is basically the proven approach from Steve, VE6WZ - so nothing too fancy, just simple stuff that works.
With six antenna inputs and four independent receiver outputs, it allows you to share multiple antennas among several radios, receivers, or SDRs - all while maintaining proper impedance and clean signal distribution. Internal broadband splitters on each input ensure consistent 50 Ω matching, so your antennas always see a proper load no matter how many receivers are connected.
Performance is excellent from 1–15 MHz and remains usable up to 30 MHz, covering the full HF range. Whether you’re managing antennas in a multi-receiver monitoring setup, switching antennas between rigs, or building a contest or DX station, the 4x6+ RX Splitter keeps your RF routing simple, organized and reliable.
Each of the four outputs also includes an auxiliary input, automatically connected when no antenna is selected on that bus. This design makes it easy to cascade multiple units when your station grows - no extra combiners or external switching required.
All signal paths are switched with mechanical relays for robust, low-loss RF performance and long-term reliability. Front-panel LED indicators clearly show which relays are active, making it easy to see your current antenna paths at a glance.
