Laser-cut, powder-coated, laser-engraved aluminium enclosures are also the new addition to SUCCI family.

Work on SUCCIv2 started

For the last year I got quite a lot of feedback on my SUCCI board and the following points for improvement are targeted by next SUCCI version:

1. Make it kit with enclosure. There will be assembled version as well :)
2. Add support for more radios - Kenwood with TTL levels is working in lab, RS-232 based radios to follow.
3. Utilize FTDI chipset - Some software vendors are warmly recommending it, so I will trust their experience.

Stay tuned for more!

Always use shielded cables...

... especially when considering field operation. Two pieces of unshielded control cable 50cm each made our lives very hard on 15 meters band while working as TC2M on CQWW CW 2012. For some reason our 3band antenna was causing huge problem in several directions only on 15 meters and was driving the band decoder control crazy. Besides that, the K3 to Acom2S1 interface prototypes did a great job! Soon will have them boxed and pictured :)
